The welfare and well-being of the children placed in our care is of paramount importance. As Banana Moon becomes your child’s second home, great care is taken to provide a warm, safe and caring environment in which each individual child’s needs are met.
Our professional staff provide a friendly, fun and stimulating environment in which children can play and develop friendships in a safe environment while providing them with fun activities. This helps them to learn social skills which will prove fundamental throughout their lives.
Children need to feel a sense of security and belonging when they are away from their parents and carers, so we strive to ensure that all children feel happy, relaxed and safe. We encourage children to feel confident in co-operating and developing positive relationships with the adults caring for them.
Every child is recognised and treated as an individual, and we work closely with parents, carers and schools to provide a level of care that meets your child’s needs and to a standard you would expect.
Here at Banana Moon Norristhorpe, we have a spacious environment with a vast amount of resources for your child to partake in, along with many fun, educational and creative projects!
For those children who have homework to complete, want time out to concentrate on a drawing, share a board game with a friend, or just want to we have a ‘chill’ with a book, then the Quiet Zone is perfect for them.
We drop off and pick children up from the following local primary schools:
